About the race
The Bidasoa river, the fishing harbour of Hondarribia and the streets of Irun set the scene for the Media Maratón del Bidasoa, a flat and fast half marathon on the border between the Basque Country and France. The 21.097 km course is RFEA-certified and runs in one loop from Paseo de Colón in Irun along the river to the end of the harbour in Hondarribia, returning through the city to the finish in Plaza de Urdanibia. The race starts at 10:00 on Sunday 28 February 2027, with five aid stations, a time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes, a cloakroom at the Frontón Uranzu and showers in nearby sports centres. Bibs and runner's bags are collected at the Runner's Fair in Plaza Ensanche on the Saturday before the race.

Bibs can be transferred to another runner through the participant's private area until 26 February 2027 at 13:00. Runners can switch from the half marathon to the 10K free of charge until 14 February 2027, with no refund of the price difference.
