Silla 10K 2027

Quiet streets, lanes between rice fields and market gardens and the nearby Albufera: the Silla 10K is a young, friendly race through the municipality of Silla, in l'Horta Sud, on a mixed urban and rural circuit. Organised by Sportic with Silla Town Council, it is a perfect event for running fast on the flat and enjoying a village atmosphere. General information: - Date: 2027-05-15. The first edition was held on 2025-02-02, in winter, so the 2027 date and edition should be confirmed with the organiser. - Distance: 10 km in a single lap, on an urban and rural circuit. - Start and finish: Passeig de l'Albereda, in Silla's municipal park. - Start: 09:30 in the first edition. - Time limit: 1 hour 20 minutes. - Places: 500. - Minimum age: 18; from 16 or 17 with authorisation from a legal guardian. - Organiser: Didàctic Esport (Sportic), with Silla Town Council. It is a regional-level event. Why it is special: - The course combines the streets of Silla with country lanes in l'Horta Sud. - It is a flat circuit, ideal for a 10K personal best. - Entry is very affordable and includes a technical t-shirt if you register in time. - There are trophies for the top three in each category and for the top three local runners. Course: 10 km in one lap, on an urban and rural circuit starting and finishing on Passeig de l'Albereda. There is a water station at km 5 and liquid and solid aid at the finish. In the first edition it cost €10 with a t-shirt until five days before and €10 without a t-shirt for the following two days. Bib pickup: in the first edition the bib and runner's bag with technical t-shirt were collected the afternoon before from 16:30 to 18:30 and on race morning from 08:15 to 09:15, at the designated area. There is no expo, but the municipal park area is full of atmosphere. Silla is very close to Valencia and well connected by train, so it is easy to get there on race morning. Bib exchange: the rules do not cover a name change or bib change, and entries are not refunded. There are no official waiting lists.
