About the race
The boulevards, bridges and historic neighbourhoods of the French capital welcome the first big running event of spring with the HOKA Semi de Paris, one of the largest half marathons in the world, with more than 40,000 runners from France and abroad each year. In 2027 the race opens a new chapter under its new organiser, Cadence Running United, with a brand-new 21.1 km course through the streets of Paris that promises new ground and new neighbourhoods, and that will be revealed in early 2027 along with an interactive map, aid stations and entertainment points. The race takes place on Sunday 2027-03-07, with refreshment stations, medical assistance and runner services along the route, live music to cheer runners on, and an event village with running professionals, sponsors and exhibitors open on the Friday and Saturday before the race. Entries are allocated by lottery, with a single general fee of €79, a 5% discount for FFA-licensed runners, Passerelle bibs at €25 for eligible runners and charity bibs for partner associations, and the race is the perfect warm-up for the Paris Marathon on 2027-04-04.
Paris Half Marathon name change
Name changes are not allowed. The right to register obtained in the lottery is personal and cannot be transferred to another person, and once purchased, the bib is also personal and non-transferable. The only official way for a bib to change hands is the official resale platform, which opens on 2026-12-01 and allows runners to buy an entry released by another participant, subject to availability. Cancellation and refund conditions are set out in the race rules and terms of sale accepted at registration.
