About the race
The palm groves and countryside of Elche set the scene for the 50 km of the UltraHélike, a solidarity ultra in its third edition, designed as an introduction to ultra distance. The course climbs around 900 metres over asphalt, dirt paths and rocky sections around the outer edge of the municipality, with aid stations at km 13, 23, 32 and 44.5. The race starts at 10:00 on Saturday 27 February 2027 from Plaza de Baix, in the heart of Elche, and finishes on Paseo de la Estación, with a time limit of 12 hours. Runners collect their bib and a commemorative garment at the Runner's Fair the day before, every finisher receives a medal, and a large part of the proceeds goes to a charitable cause.
