A lush valley, wild terrain and spectacular views over the Montnegre: the Xtrail Vallgorguina Trail 15K runs through the Vall d'Olcinelles in Vallgorguina, one of the greenest corners of the Vallès Oriental. In May the forest is at its best and the trails invite you to run surrounded by nature. General information: - Date: Sunday 2027-05-09. - Location: Vallgorguina, in the Vall d'Olcinelles, in the Montnegre i el Corredor park. - Mode: TRAIL, 15 km with 500 m of elevation gain. - Start: 09:00 from Pavelló Municipal de Vallgorguina. - Minimum age: 15, with a signed authorisation for minors. - Organiser: Sport Events 360º. It is part of the Xtrail Series Run circuit, with points standings and a special price if you sign up for the full circuit. - It is an ideal distance for runners who already run in the mountains and want a serious challenge without reaching half-marathon length. Why it is special: - It offers real trail running very close to Barcelona, with a friendly, well-organised atmosphere. - Entry includes breakfast before the start and a botifarrada (grilled sausage) with a drink and coffee at the end. - Photos are free, and there are prizes for the top three in each category, absolute and veterans, and for the club with the most participants. - The landscape of the Vall d'Olcinelles, in the Montnegre i el Corredor park is the star of the morning. Course: 15 km of trails and tracks in the Vall d'Olcinelles, in the Montnegre i el Corredor park, with 500 m of elevation gain, starting and finishing at Pavelló Municipal de Vallgorguina. The organiser publishes the courses and tracks on the official website; carrying the GPS track on your watch and always following the markings is recommended. Timetable: the TRAIL start is at 09:00. Starts are staggered by distance, so arrive in good time for breakfast and your warm-up. There is no start corral by finishing time: runners line up according to their pace. Registration and prices: registration is on the official website and your place is not reserved until you pay. Prices for the TRAIL mode: - Early bird: €24 (until 2026-09-16). - Phase 2: €30 (until 2027-04-07). - Phase 3: €35 (until 2027-05-02). If you have no accident insurance, a €3 day insurance is added.
