About the race
The rugged cliffs of the Montsant, the forests of Prades and the wine villages of the Priorat set the scene for the Generosa, the long-distance trail of the Travessa Trail. The 85 km course, with around 5,100 metres of climbing, follows unmarked mountain routes that runners navigate with the official GPS track, a demanding journey through two natural areas with spaced-out aid stations and life bases. The race starts at 07:00 on Saturday 20 February 2027 from Cornudella de Montsant, with a time limit of 21 hours, and each runner carries an individual GPS tracker so the race can be followed live.
