X Trail Bronchales 25K 2026

If the 43K is the queen stage, the TB 25K is its middle sibling: built for trail runners who already have some mileage under their belt but aren't quite ready to commit to the big distances yet. At 25 kilometres and 1,290 metres of elevation gain, it shares much of the DNA of the big route but condenses it into a more manageable experience, with a 6 hour 30 minute time limit.The start is demanding from minute one: barely a kilometre and a half in, runners are already climbing the Vicidilla, an opening climb that forces the field into single file. After the descent into the Tejeda ravine, the course links up the Collado Sevillano (1,780 m) and a plateau close to 1,800 metres before dropping down to the first aid station at Fuente del Canto — a spot you have to hop across several little streams to reach, adding a playful touch to the route. The second half saves its toughest section for the climb to Corral del Tío Martín, where in the opening metres some runners end up literally putting their hands on the ground because of the gradient, before cresting the now-familiar Sierra Alta (above 1,800 m) and rolling into a fun, safe final descent toward the Las Corralizas campsite and the finish in Bronchales.A detail that links this race to its bigger sibling: it also passes through Noguera, so 25K runners get to enjoy that same small-village atmosphere fully invested in the race. And just like the 43K, the TB 25K is ITRA-rated and has counted toward the ranking since 2019 — unusual for a "mere" 25-kilometre distance, which says a lot about how technically demanding the course actually is.
