X Trail Bronchales 13K 2026

The TB 13K is the distance built for those who want to try trail running without yet committing to the longer races, or simply to keep family or friends company on the same weekend as the other distances. At 13 kilometres with 535 metres of elevation gain and a 3 hour 30 minute time limit, it's the most accessible of the three options — though that doesn't mean it's flat or easy.The route also opens with the climb up the Vicidilla, the same one that tests runners on the other two distances, serving here as a baptism by fire for mountain-running newcomers. After cresting above 1,700 metres, a track descent lets runners stretch their legs through the pine forest before reaching the first aid station (km 5) and the Fuente de la Rosa, a perfect spot to cool off on hotter days. The real star of this short distance is, once again, Sierra Alta: the final climb from 1,600 to 1,840 metres is the hardest part of the race, but also the one delivering the most spectacular views over the entire Sierra de Albarracín, right before a final descent the organisers themselves describe as "a real carpet" to run freely down to the Las Corralizas campsite and the finish line.Unlike its bigger siblings, the TB 13K doesn't appear in the ITRA ranking, which makes sense given the association only rates races above a certain minimum combination of distance and elevation gain; even so, it shares exactly the same natural setting, the same iconic aid stations, and the same music-and-applause finish-line atmosphere as the other two distances, making it the perfect stepping stone before taking on the 25K or 43K in a future edition.
