About the race
The Roman Aqueduct, the Cathedral and the Alcázar watch over the Media Maratón de Segovia, an afternoon half marathon through one of the most beautiful World Heritage cities in Spain, now in its nineteenth edition. The 21.097 km course is homologated, fully urban and included in the RFEA national calendar, with around 290 metres of elevation gain from Avenida Vía Roma through the historic centre, the San Lorenzo neighbourhood, the Paseo del Salón, Avenida del Acueducto and Calle Real, before finishing in the Plaza Mayor. The race starts at 17:00 on Saturday 2027-03-13, with places for up to 3,000 runners, a time limit of 2 hours 27 minutes 41 seconds (7 min/km), start pens by accredited time, aid stations at km 5, 10 and 15 and at the finish, and live music along the course. It can be run individually, in pairs or as a two-person relay of 10 km and 11 km. Every finisher receives an exclusive commemorative medal, and the entry includes the official t-shirt, free race photos, post-race massage, a cloakroom on the Enlosado de la Catedral, showers near the finish and live results, with bibs collected on 2027-03-12 and 2027-03-13.

The registration holder can be changed until 2027-02-28 at 23:59 for a fee of 5 €. Registrations cannot be cancelled unless cancellation insurance was purchased. Runners registered in the individual category cannot switch to the pairs or relay categories; they must register again with no refund, unless they purchased cancellation insurance. Changes between the pairs and relay categories are allowed until 2027-02-28 for 1 €. If the race is suspended for reasons attributable to the organisers, fees are refunded on request minus refund costs; if it is postponed, the registration remains valid for the new date and is not refunded.
