Chiclana Half Marathon 2027

Kilometres of coastline, the marshlands of Chiclana and views over the beach of Sancti Petri set the scene for the Media Maratón Ciudad de Chiclana, which bills itself as the fastest half marathon in the province of Cádiz and reaches its fourth edition in 2027. The race takes place on Sunday 2027-04-11 at 09:00, with start and finish at the Centro Deportivo Urbano Costa Sancti Petri, on Calle Arrecife, in Chiclana de la Frontera. Why the Chiclana Half Marathon is special. It combines a flat, fast course homologated by the RFEA with the light and landscapes of the Costa de la Luz, a festive atmosphere and a finish that the organisers describe as one to remember. It is a race designed for runners: there is a Runner's Fair with running brands, a free childcare service for families, discounted accommodation with partner hotels and plenty of free extras, from photos to the finish-line video. Course. The half marathon covers 21.097 km on a flat, fully paved course through the streets and marshlands of Chiclana, with views of Sancti Petri beach and a start and finish at the same point, ideal for running a personal best on the coast of Cádiz. There are liquid aid stations at km 5, 10, 15 and 17 and liquid and solid refreshments at the finish. Times and general information. The start is at 09:00 and the time limit is 3 hours, with the finish closing at 12:00 and cut-off times of 1h30 at km 10 and 2h15 at km 15; runners outside these times must hand in their bib or continue at their own risk following traffic rules. The race is open to everyone, with categories from Sub 20 to Master 70 and wheelchair, physical or intellectual disability and pushed wheelchair categories. There is a free cloakroom at the start area from 07:30, chemical toilets at the start and finish, medical services and physiotherapy and podiatry for injured runners. Timing uses a disposable chip on the bib, and the free GESCONCHIP app offers live tracking and results. Registration and prices.
