GTTAP – Back to Cerler 2026

The GTTAP – Back to Cerler is a fast, dynamic and highly enjoyable mountain race linking Benasque with some of the valley’s most iconic villages and landscapes, with Cerler and its ski resort as the central reference point. From Benasque, the course follows the Ésera river towards Linsoles and Anciles, where the climb begins along the PR‑HU 33 up to Cerler. The route then heads into high‑mountain terrain towards the Ardonés waterfalls, the Ardonés hut and the Sierra Negra, reaching Picalbo before launching into a fast, technical forest descent. After returning to Cerler, the course drops to El Molino and finishes with a thrilling descent along the PR‑HU 27 and 28 back to Benasque. The race regulations define absolute, under‑23 and veteran A/B/C categories, require runners to follow the marked route, respect all cut‑off times and keep their bib number visible at all times. The organization enforces mandatory checkpoints, mountain‑safety measures, medical support and the prohibition of external pacing or unauthorized equipment. The race includes 4 aid stations and 3 medical points, strategically placed to ensure runner safety and performance. With sections above 2,000 meters and a mix of road, track and mountain trail, Back to Cerler is an ideal mid‑distance challenge within the GTTAP.
