About the race
A morning on the bike between the Garrotxa volcanoes and the mountains of El Ripollès: La Remences Cyclosportive 100K offers the atmosphere of this great Catalan classic over a more accessible distance. It starts and finishes in Sant Esteve d'en Bas and shares the start, the first climbs and the final celebration with the long route. General information: - Date: Saturday 2027-05-08. - Edition: 30th. - Start and finish: Carrer Ample, Sant Esteve d'en Bas (La Vall d'en Bas, Girona). - Start: 08:00. - Route: 100 km with about 1,280 m of elevation gain. - Format: non-competitive cyclosportive on open roads, on the calendar of the Catalan Cycling Federation, the RFEC and the UCI. Why it is special: - It is one of the most traditional cyclosportives in Catalonia, with 30 editions and more than 2,000 riders each year. - It crosses three counties, La Garrotxa, El Ripollès and Osona, through mountain scenery and volcanic valleys. - It counts towards the Ciclopirineus Circuit, the Catalan Cycle Touring Challenge and the Women's Circuit. - At the finish there is a final meal, showers, changing rooms and physiotherapists. Course: It covers 100 km with about 1,280 m of elevation gain. It passes Olot, the Coll de Capsacosta, Sant Joan de les Abadesses and Ripoll, and returns to La Vall d'en Bas, splitting from the long route at around km 96. On the long route, riders who do not pass the Manlleu checkpoint are classified on the short route. The courses and profiles are on the official website. Timetable: the start is at 08:00. In the previous edition, the route split (km 96) closed at 12:00. The finish area closed at 17:00 in the previous edition. There is no start corral by finishing time: it is a mass start. Registration and prices: registration is online on the official website, with a single tiered price: - First 500 entrants: €65. - From bib 501 to 28 February: €72. - From 1 March to closing: €82.
