About the race
The rugged sierras of Grazalema, between Cádiz and Málaga, and the old paths once travelled by Andalusian bandits set the scene for the Bandolerita, the 81 km ultra of the Sierras del Bandolero, now in its fourteenth edition. The course climbs and descends 3,586 metres through limestone ridges, pinsapo forests and white villages, a demanding day-and-night journey that starts and finishes in Prado del Rey. The race starts at 10:00 on Saturday 2027-03-06, with 7 aid stations, a drop bag in Villaluenga del Rosario and a time limit of 24 hours, until 10:00 on Sunday 2027-03-07. Finishers within the time limit receive a finisher souvenir and a diploma, with showers and a rest area at the finish, places are limited to 500 and runners must be at least 21 years old.
Bandolerita name change
Bib transfers and race changes are not allowed under any circumstances. Refunds must be requested in writing to [email protected] (phone or WhatsApp requests are not accepted), with bank fees deducted: 80% until 2026-12-31, 40% from 2027-01-01 to 2027-01-31, and no refund from 2027-02-01. There is no refund if the organisers cancel or suspend the race due to weather, an orange alert, health or administrative reasons.
