The streets of Valdepeñas, a historic wine town in the heart of La Mancha, welcome runners to the 10K of the Media Maratón Ciudad de Valdepeñas, a lively urban race on a single lap of an RFEA-homologated circuit. The 10 km course starts and finishes at the Ciudad Deportiva Virgen de la Cabeza, a fast route through the town with aid stations at km 4.5 and at the finish. The race starts at 10:30 on Sunday 2027-02-28, with a time limit of 1 hour 15 minutes, and runners aged 16 and 17 can take part with parental authorisation. Runners can enjoy a warm-up area, animation points along the route, refreshments at the finish, changing rooms and showers, race photos and a live broadcast, and at the solidarity finish they can have a commemorative medal engraved in exchange for a €1 donation.
