About the race
The Roman Theatre, the port and the historic streets of Cartagena welcome runners to the 10K of the Media Maratón Ciudad de Cartagena, the Gregorio Lorente Rosas Memorial, in its thirty-fourth edition. The 10 km course starts and finishes at the Palacio de los Deportes and runs through the city, a fast urban route with an aid station on Calle San Vicente at km 5. The race starts at 09:30 on Sunday 2027-03-07 with start pens by predicted time, and places are limited to 3,000 runners across the 10K and the half marathon. The entry includes a runner's bag with an official t-shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing, a cloakroom, a post-finish recovery area, showers and changing rooms.

Bibs can only be transferred while registration is open (until 2027-03-01 at 20:00, or earlier if the 3,000 bibs sell out), through the registered runner's panel on the registration platform. Unauthorised transfers lead to the bib being cancelled. If the race is suspended due to force majeure, extreme weather or the withdrawal of health permits, runners who have not collected their runner's bag can recover 15% of the fee; there is no refund if the race is stopped once it has started for safety reasons beyond the organisers' control.
