100 Millas Sierras del Bandolero 2027

Limestone peaks, pinsapo fir forests and the white villages of the Sierra de Grazalema set the scene for the 100 Millas Sierras del Bandolero, a legendary Andalusian ultra that follows the old routes of the bandits who once roamed these mountains between Cádiz and Málaga, now in its fourteenth edition. The course covers around 160 km with 6,511 metres of climbing and descent, a journey of two nights through the Sierra de Grazalema and the Serranía de Ronda, passing through Ronda and Villaluenga del Rosario before returning to Prado del Rey. The race starts at 18:00 on Friday 2027-03-05 from the Parque Blas Infante in Prado del Rey, with 14 aid stations, two drop bags (in Ronda at km 69.3 and in Villaluenga del Rosario at km 120) and a time limit of 41 hours, until 11:00 on Sunday 2027-03-07. Every runner carries a GPS tracking beacon, and finishers within the time limit receive a finisher souvenir and a diploma, with showers and a rest area waiting at the finish. Places are limited to 500, including the relay format, and runners must be at least 21 years old.
