Medio Maratón Álora Valle del Sol 2027

Orange groves, the white houses of Álora and its Moorish castle overlooking the Guadalhorce valley, known as the Valle del Sol, set the scene for the Medio Maratón Álora Valle del Sol, a classic of the Málaga running calendar that reaches its twenty-eighth edition in 2027. The 21.097 km course runs through the town and the countryside of the Guadalhorce valley, a varied route that combines asphalt with rural paths among orchards and hills. The race takes place on Sunday 2027-03-07, with the Pabellón Polideportivo Cubierto in Álora as the event hub, and it is organised by the Club Atletismo Guadalhorce-Álora. The 2027 edition features an official navy blue t-shirt chosen by the runners themselves, and the same morning the town also hosts its traditional Carrera Urbana, filling Álora with a festive running atmosphere.
