Media Maratón Ciudad de Valdepeñas 2027

Vineyards, wine cellars and the streets of one of the great wine capitals of La Mancha set the scene for the Media Maratón Ciudad de Valdepeñas, a half marathon that carries the town's historic title of "Muy Heroica" and is one of the classics of the Ciudad Real provincial road race circuit. The 21.097 km course is homologated by the RFEA and run in two laps through the town, starting and finishing at the Ciudad Deportiva Virgen de la Cabeza, with aid stations at km 4.5, 10, 16.5 and at the finish. The race starts at 10:30 on Sunday 2027-02-28, with a time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes and places shared with the 10K up to a total of 2,500 runners. Runners can enjoy a warm-up area, animation points along the route, refreshments at the finish, changing rooms and showers, race photos and a live broadcast, and at the solidarity finish they can have a commemorative medal engraved with their name and time in exchange for a €1 donation.
