Media Maratón Ciudad de Salamanca 2027

Golden sandstone façades, the Plaza Mayor and the towers of its two cathedrals make Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage city, a unique setting for the Media Maratón Ciudad de Salamanca, which reaches its fourteenth edition in 2027. The 21.097 km course runs through the historic city and passes some of its most emblematic places, a half marathon that combines sport with the heritage of one of Spain's great university cities. The race takes place on Sunday 2027-03-07 with around 2,300 runners, and every bib comes with a runner's bag. The experience goes beyond race day: there is an official training guide with open sessions for all levels led by coach Héctor Rodríguez Sánchez, a free guided tour of the city for runners and their companions on 2027-02-28, special hotel rates for visitors and a live broadcast of the race on YouTube.
