About the race
The streets of central Elche, home to the largest palm grove in Europe, welcome runners to the 10K of the Media Maratón Internacional Ciudad de Elche, now in its third edition. The 10 km urban course on asphalt is homologated and certified by the RFEA, so all times are official, and it shares the start and the first kilometres with the half marathon, finishing on its first pass through the finish line, with an aid station at km 5 and refreshments at the finish. The race starts at 09:00 on Sunday 2027-04-11 next to the Elche Parque railway station, in pens by expected time, with the finish closing at 10:15 and participation open to runners aged 16 and over. The entry includes a technical running t-shirt, a finisher medal and towel, and bib collection at the Runner's Fair on 2027-04-09 and 2027-04-10, with the option of having the medal engraved with your time.

The bib holder can be changed until 2027-03-28 at 23:59 through the race page on the Championchip Levante registration platform ("Consultar inscripción"), for an additional fee of 5 €. The new runner pays the registration as a new entry, and once registered, the original runner is refunded minus 5 € plus management and bank fees. Bibs transferred or sold without following this process may be cancelled, and those involved may be banned from registering for four years. Runners who purchased the 3 € cancellation insurance can cancel without giving a reason by writing to [email protected] before 2027-03-28 and receive 80% of the registration fee, excluding the cost of the insurance. Fees are also refunded in case of injury or illness certified by a specialist doctor, minus transfer costs, if requested by 2027-03-28. No changes or refunds are possible after that date.
