About the race
From the streets of Vilaflor de Chasna, the highest village in the Canary Islands, up towards the summits of southern Tenerife, the Vertical of the Trail Fuente Alta Vilaflor is a short and intense uphill challenge. The 6 km course climbs 620 metres, rising from 1,500 to 2,100 metres of altitude through Canary pine forest and volcanic terrain, with one aid station and a time limit of 2 hours. Runners who also take part in another distance of the event get a 50% discount on the Vertical entry.
