About the race
The medieval town of Aínsa, with its castle and arcaded main square, and the wild mountains of the Sobrarbe, in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, set the scene for the Trail Sierra Partara, a classic early-season trail in Huesca. The 24 km course climbs around 1,100 metres through the paths and ridges of the Sierra de Partara, a demanding route with sweeping views over the Pyrenean peaks and the valleys of the Cinca and the Ara. The race takes place on Saturday 2027-03-06, starting and finishing in Aínsa, and is organised by the Aínsa-Sobrarbe town council and Club CAS. The entry includes a technical t-shirt, aid stations with food and drink, medical assistance, showers at the town's sports centre and a post-race meal in the marquee at Aínsa Castle.
