About the race
Sainte-Maxime, Gassin, Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle, La Croix-Valmer and Cavalaire are linked by the Relais of the Marathon du Golfe de Saint-Tropez, a team relay of four or five runners along the full marathon course on the French Riviera. Teams share the 42.195 km between the Pont du Préconil in Sainte-Maxime and the Maison de la Mer in Cavalaire-sur-Mer, handing over at the relay points in Gassin (km 14), Saint-Tropez (km 19), Ramatuelle (km 29) and, for teams of five, La Croix-Valmer (km 37.2), each runner running a single leg chosen at registration. The race starts at 08:00 on Sunday 2027-03-14, just after the elite start, with aid stations every 5 km, water points every 5 km from km 7.5, chip timing and a time limit of 6 hours. It is open to runners born in 2011 or earlier, bibs are collected by the team leader at the Running Expo in Sainte-Maxime on 2027-03-12 and 2027-03-13, and every finishing team receives a finisher reward.

Registration is non-transferable and final, and no refunds are made. Bib transfers are only allowed between members of the same team and must be notified to and validated by the organisers. Teams can add or remove a runner by emailing [email protected] before 2027-03-05: adding a runner costs 40 €, and no refund is made when a runner is removed. Anyone who gives their bib to another person without the organisers' agreement is held responsible for any accident caused by that person during the race. If the race is cancelled due to a pandemic, the organisers will offer a postponement to the following year or a partial refund depending on the cancellation date; in other cases of force majeure, only a postponement to the following year is offered, with no refund.
