About the race
A November Sunday dawns in Seville and the city dresses in pink. Thousands of women fill Calle de la Rábida with the official T-shirt, music, nerves and plenty of enthusiasm for the Carrera de la Mujer Sevilla. It is a morning of sport, joy and solidarity under the southern sun, where every participant runs, walks and celebrates alongside mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters and friends. An event that has become a traditionIn 2026 Seville celebrates the 19th edition of its Carrera de la Mujer, part of the largest women's sporting event in Europe. Since it began in 2004, the Carrera de la Mujer has brought together more than 1.6 million participants with a clear purpose: to encourage women of all ages to take up sport, to support cancer research and to raise awareness of the fight against gender-based violence and social inequality. It is organised by Sport Life Ibérica with the support of Seville City Council's Municipal Sports Institute.6.4 kilometres through the streets of SevilleThe race covers about 6.4 fully urban kilometres, with start and finish on Calle de la Rábida. It starts from 9:00 and the time limit is 1 hour 30 minutes. It is a race for everyone: you can run the whole way, alternate running and walking, or walk the course. When you register you choose your mode and pace, and you receive a bib with a different design according to your choice. Starts are organised by corrals so everyone enjoys a smooth start: at 9:00 elite runners and those running faster than 6 minutes per kilometre, at 9:03 runners slower than 6 minutes per kilometre, at 9:06 those walking most of the way and at 9:09 those walking the whole course.A race to share with family and friendsAll women aged 8 and over can take part. As well as individual age categories, from age 8 up to veterans aged 75 and over, the race celebrates family and friendship with special categories: mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, mother and daughter, three sisters, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, aunt and niece, two or three friends, work colleagues, gyms, schools and women's associations. There are also categories for women with disabilities and wheelchair participants, with trophies for the top three in each. What your entry includesRegistration includes the official Oysho technical T-shirt, a bib with timing chip and a runner's bag with gifts. The chip is built into the bib, so there is nothing to collect or return. During the race there are ambulances and specialist medical services along the course, at the start and at the finish. Afterwards you can check the results, browse the photo gallery of your finish and download your official video and diploma from the race website. T-shirts, bibs and bags are collected on Saturday 14 November from 10:00 to 18:00.Much more than a raceThe Carrera de la Mujer Sevilla is also enjoyed before and after the finish line, with workshops, activities and training sessions to prepare for the event, and a festive atmosphere where music and entertainment keep participants going.Running for a causeEvery entry supports the projects of the race's beneficiary organisations, such as the Spanish Association Against Cancer, GEICAM, Pulseras Rosas, the Ana Bella Foundation and the Clara Campoamor Association. There are also 50 fully charitable bibs, with the full amount going to AMAMA Sevilla, the Seville association of women with breast cancer.RegistrationEntry costs €13.95 (VAT and booking fee included) until Sunday 8 November at 23:59, and €14.95 from 9 to 13 November at 18:00, or until the 7,000 places are filled. Groups of 20 or more women can register together by contacting the organisers.Run, walk, laugh and share: the Carrera de la Mujer Sevilla is the best way to join the pink tide and prove that, together, we go further.
