About the race
This race is built to fly over the asphalt: 15 km, entirely urban, RFEA-certified, with start and finish at the same spot — Avenida Ingeniero Manuel Soto, next to the Port of Valencia. Since it runs at night (starting at 22:30), it has a completely different feel from most races: you run under the city lights and, as the organizers put it, "under the Moon of Valencia."The route heads out toward Avenida del Puerto, turns onto Avenida de Aragón, makes a 90-degree double turn on Calle Artes Gráficas to loop back along Avenida de Aragón (passing km 4) and reach Plaza de Zaragoza. From there it turns onto Paseo de la Alameda — a wide stretch that helps runners settle into a fast pace early on — up to the Jardines de Viveros gardens, where it crosses the Puente del Real bridge to switch sides of the river and enter Valencia's historic center. It's one of the prettiest moments of the course: the Turia Gardens in the background as you enter the old town.Once in the center, the route passes through Calle de la Paz, brushes past Plaza de la Virgen, turns onto Calle San Vicente Mártir up to Plaza del Ayuntamiento, and continues along Calle de las Barcas and Pintor Sorolla to Plaza de Alfonso el Magnánimo, passing the Palacio de Justicia and reaching Puerta de la Mar. At km 9 it heads down Calle Colón toward Ruzafa, then continues along Gran Vía Marqués del Turia toward the old Turia riverbed. The final stretch runs along the old riverbed via Calle Jacinto Benavente to the Monteolivete bridge, with the City of Arts and Sciences — one of Valencia's most iconic landmarks — visible on the right, on a gentle, steady downhill grade toward the sea in these last kilometers. It crosses the old riverbed footbridge, reaches Plaza Europa around the Parotet roundabout, passes km 13 heading into Avenida de Francia and Calle Menorca, and the final meters lead back to the Port of Valencia, where the finish arch awaits at the very same spot as the start. In short: a 100% flat, urban route through some of Valencia's most iconic spots — the City of Arts and Sciences, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Calle de la Paz, the Turia Gardens — with the added draw of running it at night, something very few races of this distance offer.Bib collectionThe bib/chip is handed out together with the racepack at the Runner's Expo. Picking up someone else's bib requires a photocopy of their ID (or equivalent document) and an authorization. The bib is strictly personal and non-transferable unless a formal ownership transfer is requested (see below); handing it over without authorization can have serious consequences — the organizers log the details of whoever gives away or sells it, block their registration in future years, and even notify other marathon, half marathon, 15K and 10K organizations of the violation.Another distinctive detail: you're placed in a starting corral based on the time you declare yourself at registration. You can change corrals for free by email up until one month before the race (August 26, 2026), by providing proof of a recent time in a certified 10K, 15K, half marathon or marathon; after that date, changes can only be requested in person at the Incident Desk at the Runner's Expo.RegistrationPricing doesn't depend on the calendar but on how many bibs have already sold: €15 for the first 2,000, €18 up to 4,000, €20 up to 7,500, €23 up to 12,000, and €26 from there onward. A €3 day license fee applies if you don't hold a valid athletics federation license, and there's an option to add a €2 solidarity donation for the Spanish Red Cross at sign-up.Importantly, this is the strictest refund policy we've documented so far: paid entries are non-refundable under any circumstances, except if the organizers themselves have to postpone or cancel the race due to force majeure (in which case requesting a refund costs a €1 admin fee). Bib ownership transfers to another runner are allowed throughout the registration period, until September 15, 2026, for €5 — though if you register after September 10, your bib won't have your name printed on it.
