About the race
Every January, Granollers hosts one of the great celebrations of Catalan running: La Mitja, which in 2027 reaches its 41st edition linking Granollers, Les Franqueses del Vallès and La Garriga. The 21.097 km course, certified by the Catalan Athletics Federation and the RFEA, starts on Carrer Esteve Terradas and finishes on Carrer Francesc Macià, opposite the Sports Pavilion, with staggered corral starts from 10:30 and split times at km 5, 15 and 20. There are aid stations at km 5, 10 and 15 and at the finish, and the course closes 2 h 45 min after the start. Runners receive a Mizuno T-shirt, a Mizuno Core TRN jacket, a finisher medal and a large runner's bag, and enjoy wardrobe, showers and massage at the Sports Palace, plus a free return Rodalies ticket to Granollers Centre. Bib collection at Roca Umbert includes quiet hours to reduce sensory load.
