Girona's streets, bridges and riverside avenues welcome runners back to one of Catalonia's classic half marathons, a race born in 1995 that returns to the city's calendar with renewed energy. The 21.097 km course is a fast, flat urban circuit with just 61 metres of climbing, running through Girona, Salt and Sarrià de Ter on an officially measured route. The start and finish are at the Pavelló Municipal Girona-Fontajau, with the start at 08:30 on Sunday 28 February 2027, and up to 5,000 runners can take part. Runners receive an official technical t-shirt and a finisher medal, and they can use the cloakroom, showers, physiotherapy, pacers, aid stations and live tracking. Bibs can be collected on Friday and Saturday before the race, with an express race-day pickup available from 06:00.
